Urine Concentration Interactive (Draft)
I created this interactive during our month-long Unity course. I’ve been fascinated by kidneys and the mechanism of urine concentration since I took a comparative physiology class in undergrad.

I decided a simple, 2D vector style was the best approach for this interactive. I consulted physiology textbooks, illustrations, and the literature to create an interactive experience which blended different approaches to allow free exploration of the system. I wanted learners to be able to “piece it together” visually, with options to view more or less information based on their learning goals. I included the concentration bars to help users “feel” the power of the system as they compared segments to one another.
