VaxFax – Interactive Learning Experience
This project was developed for our Design of Interactive Learning Experiences course. I worked with my classmates, Allison Abel and Melody Zhang, to create a 50-page pitch packet for a pediatrician-facing website. Our product, “VaxFax,” is intended to support pediatricians in addressing measles and other vaccine-preventable diseases, and in having difficult conversations about vaccination.

Our group worked collaboratively to research, ideate, wireframe and user test our product, and we each wrote sections of the pitch packet. Within that collaborative framework, we delegated specific tasks. I was responsible for the research and wireframe for the conversation flowchart. I also created the character art, as well as most of the icons, logos, and diagrams for the application itself, and wrote and storyboarded a parent-facing video about herd immunity.

You can view our pitch packet, and more detail about my contributions, below.

My Wireframe
I researched, ideated, and wireframed the flowchart. The parent archetypes and conversation techniques are from the literature. I developed the format, which we refined as a group.
Final Design
Ally and Melody designed the final flowchart and phone mockups. I designed the characters and provided input on the design and functionality..
The sketches I did for characters, icons, logos and charts, and the vector art I sent to the team.
Sketch Vector
I wrote and created a demo storyboard for a parent-facing video about transmission and herd immunity. Below is the art from our pitch packet and presentation, and the first rough concept sketches I made.
